One of our recent customers has discovered that she can buy made-to-order personalized laminated bookmarks with tassels for every child in her class for just $1.32 for our “mini” size (as low as 95 cents each with quantity discounts). Her bookmark is shown left, with a clever reading slogan to fit the snowman bookmark theme.
What a budget-friendly idea for a classroom, or an entire grade level or school if teachers combine their orders into one by choosing one design and purchasing it in a larger quantity to qualify for a lower discounted price. And for just .10 more per bookmark, we’ll even print each bookmark with an individual name so students receive their very own personalized bookmark.
At Impressive Inscriptions Bookmark Boutique, we offer a variety of Winter Holiday, Christmas and Hanukkah designs ready for your personalization on front and back, offered in 3 sizes, with or without tassels. You pick the design, you provide the words, and we put it together for you (we provide free proofs so you can see and approve your bookmark before we print them).
It’s easy, it’s affordable, and it’s educational. It’s the perfect gift for teachers to give their students this holiday season. Please come visit us, and don’t forget to check this weblog again for more holiday gift ideas!
Cookie exchange parties are a fun way to kick off the holidays
November 5, 2008
We’re already starting to see Christmas related orders at Impressive Inscriptions, and this is one we really wanted to share with all of you. Cookie Exchange parties are a great way to get all those homemade treats done while getting into the holiday spirit with your friends.
Stephanie, one of our recent customers, put together an order at our website which not only took care of the recipe exchange, but also took care of the “little something” she wanted to give each of her girlfriends as a Christmas gift. As she told us, she was looking for something inexpensive, but thoughtful, to give as Christmas gifts this year, but with the budget tight, she felt her options were limited until she stumbled upon our website looking for Christmas recipe cards. She ended up ordering an individually personalized “Christmas Treats” bookmark for each of her friends, and then picked up a few packs of matching Christmas Treats Personalized Recipe Cards so that each of her friends could share their cookie recipes with each other. She chose to personalize the recipe cards with her own wording: A Recipe from Stephanie’s Cookie Exchange Party
Each bookmark was personalized with a different friend’s name. At Impressive Inscriptions, the minimum order is only 8 bookmarks, and you can have a different name printed on each laminated bookmark. Bookmarks and recipe cards are sold separately, but can also be purchased together in a convenient gift set.
Another great idea, if your holiday shopping budget allows for it, is to check out the bargain books table at your local bookstore (or online at Barnes & Noble, Amazon, or Border Books). Pick up a bargain-priced recipe book, which can be very inexpensive, and then give the cook books to your friends and family with a matching personalized bookmark just for them. This idea also works well with book store gift cards, making something very ordinary so much more thoughtful.
We’ll keep sharing our customers’ Christmas & Holiday ideas with you, so come back often!
Breakfast with Santa gifts for the kids
November 3, 2008
For organizations planning events like Breakfast with Santa, Christmas Tree Lighting ceremonies, and other Christmas or holiday related activities, bookmarks are a great keepsake idea for the kids. This useable item is colorful and fun, but better yet, they promote reading.
One of our customers recently ordered our Santa Bookmark (shown above) personalized with “Official Elf” on the front and “Naughty or Nice” on the back. We’re not sure what kind of event they will be given out at, but they were ordered in our budget-friendly “mini” size, without tassels, in a large quantity. We know there will be a lot of happy children at whatever holiday event these were ordered for!

Our exclusive red / green twist deluxe tassel tops off many of our Christmas bookmark designs perfectly.
Our Christmas Bookmarks are organized into three categories in our Online Store:
“Christmas Fun” designs
“Religious Christmas” designs
“Winter Holiday” designs
We’ll be posting many more Christmas and holiday ideas soon, so check back often!
