Custom bookmarks — what exactly do we mean?

Wow, we’ve been so busy filling Christmas orders, we haven’t been able to keep up with our blog! There have been so many unique bookmark orders for the holidays. We love our customers’ ingenuity and creativeness when it comes to personalizing our bookmarks, which gives us the perfect opportunity to discuss the meaning of “custom bookmarks” at our website, where we have two views regarding what that exactly means.

There are two ways you can get custom bookmarks at Impressive Inscriptions.

• You can choose a design from our catalog, where we feature over 500 original designs organized by category. We basically sell our bookmarks “blank” — meaning, YOU supply the text for the design you’ve chosen. Yes, we show text on our bookmarks, to give you ideas. But the text is entirely up to you. We give you a space on the order form to enter text for the front and the back sides of the bookmark.  Once we receive your order, we provide a free proof of the bookmark design you chose with your text set up on it — and there are no extra charges. The price you see is the price you’re charged. It’s all included, unless you decide you’d like to email us a photo or logo or other image for inclusion on that bookmark design. Then there’s an additional $5.00 setup fee (per order — not bookmark!) for including your image.

So that’s Custom Bookmark type #1 — choose a design from our catalog, and we will customize it with your text.

Can’t find a design that suits your idea perfectly? Then head to the “Your Design – Custom” category of our store.  That’s where you ask us to design a bookmark for you from scratch. You can supply artwork for use in your design, or you can ask us to find the right artwork for your project. Either way, there is a $10.00 bookmark setup charge (per order — not per bookmark!), and we provide proofs of your design after receiving your order, both front and back.

So that’s Custom Bookmark type #2 — we create a design from scratch based on the instructions and selections on your order form.
