Wedding bookmarks, the versatile wedding favor – Part 1

Today we begin a multi-part posting about custom printed bookmarks for use as wedding favors. We have many examples to share with you from actual customer orders. Today, we’re focusing on photo wedding bookmarks, because adding a photo of the happy couple, along with text written by the bride and groom, means your one-of-a-kind wedding bookmark favors will be not only unique, but will be cherished by your guests for years to come. Not to mention, bookmarks can be used by people of all ages, by both men and women. At the very least, your wedding bookmark favor could be used in a phone book or cookbook!

The two bookmarks shown above are examples of custom designed bookmarks for photo wedding favors made to order using the couple’s color requests and photo. Both couples provided text for the front and backside of their bookmarks. Often, a quote or scripture passage is printed on the front, along with the couple’s names and wedding date, depending on the size of the bookmark chosen. A thank you message is usually printed on the back, although we have accommodated couples by printing the lyrics to “their song,” sonnets, poems, words honoring deceased loved ones … the sky’s the limit on what can be printed on a personalized bookmark. We add matching artwork to coordinate with the front, and there are no extra charges for printing on the back of the bookmarker at Impressive Inscriptions.
The bookmark (shown left) is a design available in our catalog called Single Red Rose. The rose is also available in white, yellow, peach, and pink. One of our favorite photo wedding bookmark favors was this simple bookmark which we cropped so that the couple filled the entire front side of the bookmark. Their words were printed in chocolate brown on cream cardstock, and a chocolate brown deluxe chainette tassel added the finishing touch to these unique laminated bookmarks.
