The Ivy bookmark design: perfect for wedding favors

 

Ivy, the symbol of longevity, wedded love, fidelity, friendship and affection, has had significance throughout history, so it would make sense that our Ivy Design bookmark can make the perfect customized favor for a wedding. An engaged couple recently ordered the design and opted to have their photo included (shown left). They excerpted a poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (linked searchable database of Longfellow poems) for the text on the back of their elegant wedding momentoes:

Think spring…

 

A year-end garden club celebration was the reason why our customer ordered our “I Love Gardening” bookmark in our cute mini size (1-3/8″ x 5-1/2″). With winter about to bear down on us, we thought we’d feature this design as a reminder that spring is just around the corner.

Because our bookmarks are made-to-order, the “I Love Gardening” wording on this bookmark can be completely removed or replaced with other text.  The design would be lovely for spring teas and luncheons, bridal shower favors or events at botanical gardens.

We really got a laugh out of the text this customer provided on her recent order of our Little Red Schoolhouse bookmark design, which we assume were Christmas holiday gifts to fellow teachers given the nature of the text: “Peace on earth? I’d settle for peace in the classroom.”

The Coqui and the Iguana, and some very effective promotional bookmarks

Alidis sent us a high resolution image of the front cover of the book for inclusion on mini bookmarks, our 1-3/8″ x 5-1/2″ laminated bookmark size. The book cover is shown in it’s entirety on the back side along with Alidis’s contact info, but to make the bookmark more impactful, we opted to cover the front side of the bookmark with a narrow section of  the cover since we could select a section of the image that depicted both the iguana and the coqui.
